Comments	A Across USA Auto Transport was terrible. We ended up not shipping the car with them, after they weren't responsive when their truck broke down. They needed a 3-day window, which we gave them. Our schedule was pretty tight since we were moving across the country, and the driver called me on the 2nd day to say the truck was broken down in Alabama (we were in VA), and he'd be by to get the car "late Wednesday or Thursday." Well, that was outside our 3-day window and wasn't acceptable. So we talked to the dispatcher, and he didn't seem too concerned about it. He said he wasn't responsible for truck problems. It took a bit of discussion regarding contract law and possible repercussions, but he finally agreed to try to find another truck. We called Dependable Auto Shippers and arranged for pickup the next day. We called A Across USA back and got a refund of our deposit (and they'd not found a new truck yet!). DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
