Comments Trusty Transport was hired to move my car from Caldwell, Texas to Sherrills Ford, NC. They were to contact me (per their correspondence) when the vehicle was picked up and then again when the driver was ready to deliver (usally 12 - 24 hrs notice per their correspondence). They picked the vehicle up sometime before labor day and did not notify me. I was out of town labor day weekend (would have changed my plans if I knew) and they tried to contact me on Saturday to deliver. I came back early (Monday morning) and called the driver. He stated that he had gone on to Wilmington and would need more money to deliver the car (independent driver). I contacted Robbie regarding delivery. He sent me a phone number to call of a trucking company. The number was not in service. I contacted Robbie and relayed the information, told him again that they breached the contract by not contacting me of pick up time. I received another email from Robbie stating that once the vehicle is loaded on the truck, he is done and that legally everything is out of his hands and no longer controls it and that I can "seek and demand all you (I) want". No attempt to get a correct phone number, no attempt to locate my car, no resolution on any additional delivery charges required by the company. Still no resolution and am preparing to take them to court for the value of the car. I have had other vehicles transported with excellent results by other companies. This is by far the worst experience - I would never recommend this company.

Comments This company was hired by us to transport a vehicle. After many contact attempts and false promises as to a pickup date (not to mention we never got an order #), we finally cancelled our order with them. Eleven days later, after we had already hired another company (with deposit down) Trusty picked up our vehicle without our authorization, claiming to have a signed contract from us. If you go on their website, there is no "contract" and certainly nothing that can be printed out and signed to be faxed back. This company does not keep it's stated promises from it's website. It doesn't pickup/deliver in promised timeframe, we had a terrible time contacting the owner (email only- he doesn't use phone communication), didn't provide phone or email message when our vehicle was picked up, and did not provide the driver's cell #. Talk about false advertising. Not to mention stepping in and transporting our vehicle after we cancelled our order with him, before the move was even assigned. Do NOT TRUST a company that only uses email for contact!

Comments Hello, I just used Trusty Transport to do a move from Northern Virginia to Burbank, CA and this was my first time ever having to ship my car. I am sure you can imagine how nervous I was about my car getting here with in a reasonable time, undamaged and the items untouched in my trunk. I have to say I was extremely pleased with teh customer service that I received from the company. My main point of contact was Robbey, and Robbey always responded promptly to my email inquiries I sent. Even when I had to push my pick up date back a week, it was easy and simple. I just received my car like 2 hours ago and the transaction went smoothly. Even with advised not put valuable items in, I did anyway (in wrapped boxes of course) and all boxes were returned untouched.

I am please that by using a random search engine to find trusty transport and even with the mix reviews, my experience was wonderful!!!

Comments It is always difficult in who to trust to carry a vehicle that you just laid down your hard earned money for. So sometimes you just have to go with your gut. That is exactly what i did when i chose Trusty. They did not let me down. I got wonderful service, professionalism and customer satisfaction from the Trusty Transport team. I will use them again and again and again, and so should you. On time, as promised, and i even got a 2 hour call ahead letting me know that the car was arriving. All of this and they had the best price out of 16 other bids for my business. Thanks Again and GREAT JOB.

Comments I accepted robbie's quote on Nov.29 and requeasted an asap loading. A driver called me the next morning and loaded it that afternoon. It arrived 5 days later in Naples,Fl. It was wierd doing the transaction via email but they did give me the drivers cell number. I liked no deposit. I think other companies want a deposit so they can keep it if you fire them. Trusty's quote was $100 cheaper and the service was excellent.

Subject: Quote from Trusty Transport
----------------------------------------

Thank you for allowing us to quote you for the move of your vehicle. Your price is $475. We ship door to door on a eight to ten car double decker auto transporter with full insurance. One hundred pounds of luggage allowed in the trunk. Written inspections on both ends and advance notice to set times. We DO NOT require a deposit. Many companies do take a deposit and if they do not move your vehicle in a timely manner they keep your deposit when you cancel your order. Typically we can assign your auto to a truck within 1-3 days. We have a excellent record with the Better Business Bureau and the Dept. of Transportation. We are also licensed and bonded. Our motor carrier number is MC#439849. Some of my competitors own or are affilliated with "bogus" consumer sound off website listing themselves as the top carrier and the companies who are recieving the same moving leads as them as the worst companies. These sites are obviously tilted to the carrier behind them. Check with the Better Business Bureau and do not get taken Advantage of. We pride ourselves on being straight forward with you. Email me any concerns and questions and I will give you an honest answer. robbie@trustytransport.com. In certain shipping lanes (especially out of Calif.) we will be $100 cheaper than other companies. Our profit level is 8 to 12 percent. Other companies insist on a $150 to $200 profit per order. Please do not discard me because I am the lowest quote. Because I do not take a deposit I have to move your auto in order to make money. ( a very good incentive ) There isn't anything wrong with my company just because I am the lowest quote. I am just not greedy. You can place your order or read more details at www.trustytransport.com. Please email any questions to robbie@trustytransport.com Thanks.

Hi Robert,

Today is Saturday, Dec. 3, and my car is scheduled to be picked up tomorrow, Sunday, but I have not heard from anyone yet, so I just want to follow up!

I may not have internet access after I send this email, so when you reply, please do so via my cell phone at: xxxxxxx. All contact with me should be to my cell phone and not email. I do not have a landline. By the way, the 800 # on your website is disconnected.

Kind regards,

Also, the 480 number is not working either! I tried calling both numbers.

I don't think I will have internet access after I send this email, so please use my cell phone for contact! Thank you.

It seems that the truck that my car was on is being repaired; Sergei just phoned me to ask me if he can drive my car from Portland to me!

I'm not really happy about that at all, but I consented because I have a job interview tomorrow.

Although I've used TrustyTransport 3 times, I am not sure I'd use your service again.

I have just received my car and I am NOT happy. Someone put over 100 miles on my car.

Not only that, there is a HUGE stain on the driver's seat. I don't know what the hell it is, but I am going to photogragh it.

Also, on the passenger's floor and door, there is a quantity of mud. I will photograph that also.

This is bullshit.

I only paid the driver $450 instead of the $475 and he accepted it, but it's going to cost me more than $25 to clean the inside of the vehicle. That stain on the driver's seat is from the front edge of the seat to more than midway to the back. Maybe it's coffee, but I have no idea. It's disgusting.

I'll send you the photographs after I take them.

I will make sure that I never use your service again and will tell as many folks that I know that you hire drivers that have no idea what they are doing.

In my opinion, I should get at least a partial refund.

And it would have been nice if the drivers spoke ENGLISH!

We move over four thousand auto's a year with very very few complaints. I understand that you are mad and need to vent but useing statements like telling everyone you know not too use me and complaining to the BBB makes me feel reluctant to help you. How many miles is it from Portland to Ridgefield ?

I have not contacted the BBB, but I am very upset.

I was lucky to have made it to a gas station. I have never seen my gas tank so empty. I wonder how long the Low Fuel light was on. I had quite a bit of gas when the car left Rohert Park.

Portland to Ridgefield? Less than 20 miles, give or take. 174 miles is a bit much, and someone had quite a party. After I emailed you, I examined the interior more closely, and there were spills on the driver's side floor also, and whatever it was splashed on the driver's door and the steering wheel! It almost smelled like alcohol but I cannot be sure yet.

I can send you the photos of the large stain on the driver's seat, the mud on both driver and passenger seats and doors, and a photo of the ending mileage when they dropped it off.

I went to get it washed, and had an oil change. The guy at the oil change place said that all my tires had about 14 pounds of pressure in it, and I had the car checked about 2 weeks before it was shipped, and my tire pressure was just fine. Really odd. I take very good care of my vehicles.

The guy (Sergei?) seemed to just want to get out of here when I started complaining, so he was happy to get 450 instead of 475 but I should have paid a lot less.

Please let me know what you find out, and I appreciate your investigation.

Hello Robert,

I'm still awaiting your reply, and would appreciated one ASAP. Thank you.

Oh, and in cleaning the inside of my car, I found a blue cigarette lighter on the floor beneath the passenger seat, which by the way was almost in the full recline position. The blue lighter is not mine and belongs to the people who trashed the inside when they put 174 miles on my car.

Please reply.

Robert,

Enough days have passed, in my opinion, for this to be resolved.

I would like a full refund, minus the $25 I withheld when they drove my car to Ridgefield from Portland. This puts my refund at $450.

Please send a check immediately to:

After I receive the check, you can continue to await for resolution from Selena Trucking.

Please advise.

Subject: Formal Complaint Forthcoming (was: Please reply re - Shipping Order # 11-74)

Mr. Anderson,

You appear to be ignoring me.

Since you refuse to refund me, I will be filing a formal complaint with the BBB, and other organizations, such as fuckedcompany.com and other bad business sites.

In my complaints, I will also direct them to the following link when the page is done, which will be sometime today:

http://www.therose.com/html/trustytransport.html

I will also put this page, when complete, on my other 17 websites, and post the link to the newsgroups and to the 2 dozen or so email lists that I am on. The page will also contain any and all email correspondance.

I have also taken screenshots of your webpage that still shows the incorrect phone numbers for your company. I advised you of this on Dec. 3, 2005, and the numbers are still invalid as of today, Dec. 17, 2005:

TollFree: (800) 737-9098 | Phone: (480) 756-7506

I will also scan the bill of lading which shows the starting mileage at pickup and upload that photo also. The photos on the link will show the ending mileage, as I've previously mentioned to you.

Anyway, if you change your mind and decide to refund the $475 sans the $25 I held back upon my car delivery (I should have withheld it all), then please reply before noon today (Pacific time).

Rosemary

You will be the third person to do so. The last one the judge decided that do to their slander/extortion that
it cost my company money and I was due compensation. It clearly states in my terms and conditions contract
that any and all claims must be filed with the carrier. I am only the broker and am not liable for anything.
I will sue you and I will win. After thirty percent to my lawyer I had enough left last time to rent a
beautifull 9 bedroom beachouse at Hilton Head Island for my entire family for two weeks. I sent that person a
christmas card last year and this one as a thank you. I have not booked a vacation home for summer 2006 yet.
Try me. I hope you have big pockets. Lawyers aren't cheap and I will flood yours with paper. I suggest you
file a claim with Selena Transport insurance. You do not scare me and I will actually wait a month before I
sue you. The first time I sued too early and couldn't show enough lost revenue to justify much compensation.

This sure sounds like the same sort of response that you used when you replied
to the other fellow at badbusinessbureau.com, in which you said in 2002:

http://badbusinessbureau.com/reports/ripoff38658.htm

******************************
I am the owner of Trusty. You are not the first to try to extort money. The last
two my lawyer had a field day with. Myself and my lawyer enjoy collecting all of
the fees associated with sueing somebody for breach of
contract, extortion, slander(libel),defamation, lost revenue. etc. You signed an
electonic contract online (that is fully legal) that according to federal and
Arizona laws I am fully covered against this type of "extortion". That is the
exact word the judge here in Phoenix used against the last person who tried
this. My lawyer is my brother-in-law who enjoyed his Cancun vacation from the
last person who thought they were cute. You will undo everything you have put in
motion. All claims are filed with the carrier. I will happily fax you the
carriers insurance info., licenses etc. That is all I am required by law to do.
I will help an any way I can, but continuing Harrassment of my company you will
regret. The loss of business people like you try to cause me really pisses off a
judge here in Az. The judge looks at it as you are trying to pressure me into
paying the claim or having the carrier do it. I am not required by law to do
that. Lost revenue to my company can add up really quick.
Robert Anderson

It makes you sound like you really don't care, makes you sound like you can
hire these other trucking outfits and not have to worry about any of the
consequences.

Please provide the contact information etc. for Selena Trucking and I will
attempt to contact them, because you seem to not care.

And please feel free to sue me, althought on what grounds, I don't know.

Rosemary

Comments Trusty Transport was a horrible company to work with. My Jeep was picked up a day before they said it would be, the drivers cursed at my mother in law at the pick up location and when I complained to Cliff Johnson, he sent me an ugly email stating he wasn't paid to hold my hand because I was so whiny. Comments pick up was slow (2 weeks after order). Car was delivered, dirty and had 120 miles added to the previous reading (on the pickup date).

TRUSTY TRANSPORT manager said they did not do the transport, TOW ONE (their contract trucking company) did. So it was TOW ONE responsibility nad TOW ONE driver denied driving the car.

TRUSTY's ad about the car will be on their truck till delivery is FALSE.

It's INEXPENSIVE, yes, TRUSTY is questionable.

Comments I Hired Trusty on 4/1/03. My vehicle wasn't picked up until 4/10/03 (I was told it would be picked up 2-4 days). They advertise that your vehicle will stay on one truck during transport. My vehicle sat in a terminal and was transported on at least 3 different trucks that I know of. Took 15 days to transport from AZ to CT. The trucker they contracted was rude and didn\'t know where my truck was at one point. When my vehicle did finally arrive, the trucker wanted to deliver it at 5:30 in the morning! He wouldn\'t even take my vehicle off his truck for inspection until I paid in full. I tried to make a claim on the trucker\'s insurance but was told by the insurance company that their deductible is set very high and they don\'t pay for anything under the deductible. Trusty will not assist me with trying to contact the trucking company (Pyramid Transport out of NY). They will not even reply to my emails. I feel that Trusty falsly advertised that vehicles stay on the same transport truck. They contracted a trucking company who does not have adequate insurance even though they advertise that my vehicle is insured for the full value.

Comments pick-up was slow, and communication with Trusty wasn't great either. All together the vehicle took almost two weeks to arrive after the order was placed. In fairness, that included a long holiday weekend.

In any event, the actual transporter was very courteous, and the car arrived in good shape. I arranged to meet the driver only about .5 miles from my home. I'd probably use this company again.
